Concluding comments:

Learning beyond the classroom can enhance the learning of students with ASD. The prototype created explores the magnitude of strategies that traditional classroom learning can be extended to develop rich and authentic learning experiences for all students including those with additional needs. This document aims to support teachers who may have students in their classroom with ASD, exploring ways that teachers can facilitate learning beyond the classroom that can enhance experiences for both teachers and students.

This can be implemented to help teacher understand how students are feeling. Very suitable for students with ASD, as it can be a good wellbeing indication that is non-verbal (Stokes and Turnbull, 2016).

I acknowledge the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung people who are the Traditional Owners and custodians of the land on which I live and educate. I recognise their continuing connection to land, water and culture. I pay my respects to Elders past, present and emerging.
