Refined Prototype

A section detailing the refined description of your multimedia prototype project as a result of peer feedback received

Post Peer Feedback Response:

Before my peer feedback, I was focussing on ASD within the context of two learning spaces; collaborative learning spaces and learning beyond the classroom. Since receiving feedback, I have come to the conclusion that it is would be more beneficial to develop my prototype focussing on one learning space; learning beyond the classroom, in the hope that developing a prototype that is specific to one learning space, could be more applicable to future classrooms. This advice has guided me to examine deeply the different characteristics of learning outside of the classroom, including the social and environmental factors that may affect the learning of a student with ASD. Furthermore, I hope to also investigate diverse challenges that educators may face when implementing learning beyond the classroom and approaches to resolve such issues.

"I am curious about the 'learning beyond the classroom' spaces and how you'll be able to use these to support learning."

"I think your strongest link is between Sam's preference for solo play and how this may cause difficulty for him when working with peers outside of the classroom"

Quotes from my peer feedback that has informed my prototype.

I acknowledge the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung people who are the Traditional Owners and custodians of the land on which I live and educate. I recognise their continuing connection to land, water and culture. I pay my respects to Elders past, present and emerging.
